YUCCA iOS 10.2 X iPhone 7 browser-based Jailbreak is fake

While a YUCCA iOS 10.2 X iPhone 7 jailbreak was announced on Twitter recently, it is indeed completely fake.

If you take a close look at the picture that the person who made this announcement took with their phone, you will clearly see that their device isn’t actually jailbroken.

The white filling in the bulb and flag icons are not quite right for a jailbroken device of this kind, so it’s important to keep that in mind before buying into this lie.

A lot of people got very excited about the supposed browser-based jailbreak for the iPhone 7, but it’s just not true at all.

The original announcement about the jailbreak came from user @ijapija00 on Twitter. When you look at the picture that he took of his phone compared to an actually jailbroken iPhone 7, you will clearly see that the whole thing is just a lie.

The flag and lightbulb icons are the two biggest giveaways here, though there are some others. It is very disappointing news indeed, but it’s been confirmed as fake. This definitely isn’t the first fake jailbreak announcement, and it won’t be the last one.
